Well, after a much thought, Ive decided to put a little info on here about this company..I thought the owner was a friend however, doesnt seem so...I feel i was taken advantage of. Guess the have never heard of google!
I took my Crossbones in for a Wobble i was having at speeds of 40-60 mph under deceleration..
Simple fix right? After 3 weeks, they charged me $265.00 total for a Rocker Adjustment..Contacted local Harley Dealer and they would have done the same thing for $92.50.
Reciept said they check the top bearing as well. When they called me and told me my bike was ready, i asked what the problem was..answer: We are not sure..Did some adjustments and its not wobbling anymore..The mechanic said he adjusted the rockers upon me picking the bike up. Now they said they check the neck bearings and that wasnt the problem.. Im not paying a mechanic for guess work. A simple FALL AWAY TEST could have ellimntaed this anyway, correct?
While im happy the problems fixed (for now) live and learn i guess..I feel i got burned..anyone agree? I just dont feel I should go and have to bitch about getting ripped..I write a damn newspaper article if I could!
If im wrong, id be mor ethan happy to delete this post! Lets have some opinions

I have found when it comes to one "packing thier wallet's" when ever they can they usually do. I have seen money bust many familes, freinds and marriages. I think he peeled you at that price for what they did, or didn't do! I would tell them I contacted the dealer and this is the price they quoted me, why did you charge me so much more then I wouldn't go back! Screw me once, shame on you...screw me twice shame on me!!
He charged you 3-4 hours labor to check over your bike..
It's fixed.
You had a wobble... A wobble could be one of 10 different things. You only want him to charge for the 10th thing, but not any of the other things he checked? He can't let the labor go out the window.
I don't see where you got you screwed. $265 isn't that bad..

thats like saying we rebuilt ur motor but come to find out its the starter!
3 things that contribute to a wobble in a springer front end..neck bearing to tight, rocker arms, or spokes out of alignment! Ok maybe 4, front tire cupped.. Pretty much figured all this out by reading on here..
Maybe im wrong!

asg13....I feel your pain. I took my new 2007 Dyna in for its first scheduled maintenance inspection, which consists of an oil change and an overall "check for condition and security" once over, and got charged over $600 bucks. "Parts and Consumable Items, totalled $292 dollars, and the rest was "labor." I bought myself a current parts and service manual, (eBay, less than $100 for both), a small lift, a few special tools, and now do ALL the work myself! That was four years ago.....I just finished a ground-up rebuild on my 1980 Shovelhead FXE, (with the exception of paint and rebuilding the lower end), and I've currently got my 2012 Street Glide up on the lift for a 107" motor big bore kit install. Experience, common knowledge, (like what is found on this forum), and a desire to do it yourself will save you big bucks every time. Good luck! Paradise Lost
A friend and I normally do all the little things..tires/oil,pegs etc..I was told it would be about an 1hr labor so i was like what the hell not worth my time..ill take it in..
Well this is what it got me!
