Im not the best at detailing my efforts to help create a pretty cool bike but I wanted to share a couple photos and where my projects at now:
So far Ive taken the bike apart down to frame. Painting the bike a darker yellowish gold candy flake. Doing a mix of chrome and black powdercoat on most pieces and painting parts to match. Adding stretched bags, stretched fender, 36 inch cholos, Shotgun Suspension, and a few other things. Ive been working hard to get bike ready for paint. Have a friend who painted for Jesse, several sema cars, and a bunch of other stuff so Im excited to see him do one for me.
Love springers... Love the candy and flake!! Your bike is going to be frigging sweet!!!
I have a friend who paints like that... Just can't get myself to want to take apart my bike...
@ Jakes... Thanks for the love. I enjoyed seeing the pics of your adventure and all your gear stacked up on the sissy bar for the long haul you were making awhile back
@ RLow...Thanks man. The Springer is why I got into Harleys. Its been difficult like for most to be without my favorite thing to ride as Ive stripped her down. Last year logged 17K miles on her and can't wait to do more this year.
Interesting color choice..cnt wait to see it finished
Yea its not something I would usually choose but when the painter put samples together I was coverted. Saw the patterns he was putting on the bags and tank and I had perasmile
Looking forward to watching your vision come to reality. Definitely looking like its going to be something saaweeet! Keep the pictures coming.
Thanks Dean...So excited today going to meet JD in Santa Ana to buy the Shotgun I feel like its Christmas except I have to come up with the cash Thanks for helping me find these wonderful investments
