Default Discussion - why styling cues are location based? GO!

Hey guys and girls -

Just bored and Ive been wondering this for awhile ( plus I'm in the planning stage hehehe ). What sparks certain styling in certain areas?

Example - the West Coast Look? The tall t bars, 1/4 fairings, complete black outs, certain exhaust brands, etc and so on.

I live about 20 minutes ouside of buffalo ( Buffalo, isn't very big, so 20 mins puts you in the ding weeds lol). There isn't a bike around that has that type of styling. Yet - you can find drag bars, flame paint jobs, and massive amounts of chrome everywhere. It seems the exhaust of choice around here are Vance and Hines or Rienharts..

Now I know SOA has sparked that look, but I know clubs in Cali have been doing that way b4 the show was ever around.

Just interesting to know what sparks certain trends...

Should make for some interesting posts!
