Default Nacelle question?

Does anyone know which part number is needed for the 2011 Deluxe. Do I have to use part #67907-06C or can I use 67907-96?

That's the one I have on my wishlist that I pulled from the other threads I've read.

I don't know where my head dreamed up the 67907-06C number. Yea, I noticed the new superseded number is the 67907-96C. I am curious as to what kind of revisions were made between the 67907-96 and the 67907-96C. Unless they decided to add a C at the end for Chrome.

What other parts are required to get one bolted up on a Deluxe? I know the risers have to be changed to shorter ones to use the cover. What is the height of the risers that are required? What kit or modification is required to get the nacelle to work with the auxiliary light bar?

Now don't go quoting me on this, but I believe a 1.5 or 1.75 inch riser will work with the cover. I have a 1.75 inch riser, so I will let you know how that goes. As far as mods. the only thing I believe needs to be done is to grind down the light bar studs a little bit where they mount to the nacelle itself. I think they have standoffs that are maybe 3/16ths of an inch and need to be grinded down in order to get the bolts to bite with enough threads. Other than that, I think it bolts right on. I just finished taping the whole damn thing off with painters tape. I am not getting this scratched at all. I actually have my first bike show tomorrow. so I won't begin installing this until maybe sunday or next week. I'll keep you posted.

Dang, that's gonna look sick! This is my next mod after my wheel gets here. I gotta get my a front fender for the 21" wheel and I got a surprise coming on the rear fender. After that...nacelle for sure. Hopefully for Christmas.

I think it will work with the stock fatboy or heritage risers which are 1.5". You can probably pick some up cheap on ebay. I'll be moding my deluxe light bar to fit as well.
