Now don't go quoting me on this, but I believe a 1.5 or 1.75 inch riser will work with the cover. I have a 1.75 inch riser, so I will let you know how that goes. As far as mods. the only thing I believe needs to be done is to grind down the light bar studs a little bit where they mount to the nacelle itself. I think they have standoffs that are maybe 3/16ths of an inch and need to be grinded down in order to get the bolts to bite with enough threads. Other than that, I think it bolts right on. I just finished taping the whole damn thing off with painters tape. I am not getting this scratched at all. I actually have my first bike show tomorrow. so I won't begin installing this until maybe sunday or next week. I'll keep you posted.
Yeah, Pooch is right, the only reason HD don't quote fitment for a flstn with the Nacelle is the standard riser height & the light bar, I have read on here though in different threads, some haven't had to grind any off the light bar?
Now I see a couple have received theirs in the states, hopefully my order in England won't be too far behind? So soon will be a few to say exactly how fitment goes?
Not with the riser cover that comes with the Nacelle, I think if you want to leave the riser cover off, you could still fit the Nacelle? I'm sure I saw another thread on here also about fitting a nacelle to a Deluxe & they left the standard risers on but yes, left the riser cover off?
I'll see if I can find that thread & add a link later when I'm on a computer.

Congrat on the nacelle, can't wait to see it installed! Good luck with the show today brother, you'll do well with that killer sled!
The nacelle will still fit just not the cover, even with after market risers it hit or miss which it will accept I had to grind down my risers so the cover would fit.
