Too small, torque is low, revs to high. Besides, you can already get hardbags and a large windshield for them and you don't see too many set up like that. I have never seen one modified into a touring bike except in pics. Perhaps in a sport touring package like some of the hondasuki stuff.
If and when HD does a full blown touring bike with water cooled power, it will not be in a Revo frame or with a Revo engine.
I like the way you are thinking for the 2008 Duece. It makes sense for HD to bring out the 08 Duece with a 240 rear. The Duece has traditionally had a slightly bigger rear tyre than the rest of the Softail range and ithas not been upgraded since most of the rest of the range has gone to a 200mm. They've got to do something to keep us wanting the new model.
