Your probably gonna have to, I put them on mine and and added a fuelpak, also youll lose a lot of bottom end and torque going withe the duals. I did and just did a cam upgrade to gain it back and also had to go with a fuel moto efi tuner. BIke now runs better than before and I got my power back. BY the way I may have a pair of fishtails ends if your interested

I'd have to strongly disagree with this statement. Of course you'll lose some, but "a lot" I really didn't think so and to be quite honest I think mine feels to provide just as much or more bottom end torque as it did with the V&H BSS. When I crack the throttle, she'll crack and go without any issues at all and zero notice of loss of any power. It seems to maybe flatten out more on the top end IMHO...but I guess unless if you are into racing or are so into the technical aspect you'd probably notice more than someone like me.

I wouldn't worry much with running to get it tuned...run it and see how it responds with the new pipes. You've already got a stage 1 setup running and I'm thinking I'd see how she runs after the pipes are installed. No need to waste money just to get a tune that may not be needed.

Im starting to think maybe it was my tuner to cause me to lose so much. the reason I thought it was a lot is because if how much I just gained when I did my cams and changed tuners. What did you do when you went to the duals on yours Dluxe reprogram at the dealer or add a tuner???

I put V&H dresser duals on my 11' Road Glide over the winter.
If I lost any bottom end power it was very little, it sounds great and lost most of the heat on the right side to boot. I have the dyno jet power vision tuner , I got Jamie to send me a new map for it . It didn't cost me any thing to get the new map.
I don't know if you can get away with out a remap of some kind ? Try it first ,if you can save money by not remapping why not.

Mine had a stage 1 setup done by the PO who a dealer installed Dobeck TFI controller, SE AC under the football and the V&H BSS pipes. I haven't researched if the PO had the dealer flash or not yet. But I'm guessing it's quite possible since the PO had all this done before delivery.

During my build I installed a RSD AC and true duals and haven't touched a thing and she runs like a raped ape...at least in my mind. To me she has more power than the previous AC and pipe setup.
