Cool This year's mods are done!

Hey all, just wanted to crow a bit about my bike. I've had it for almost a year and when I bought it, I had a lot of stuff changed right from the start: wheels, handlebars, headlight, nacelle, taillight, pipes, cables, laydown plate holder, pc'd the forks.

So this winter I did some of the other stuff I wanted to get done: pc'd the primary cover (that brushed aluminum looks awful on a black bike and holds water spots), pc'd the console (same reason), new speedo, engraved my derby cover (came out incredible, thanks Story808!), added Kuryakyn floorboard relocators, extended and pc'd my brake and shifter pedals and a new custom C&C Solo seat.

One thing I spent a lot of time trying to fix is the leg reach. I'm average height, but long legs and always felt like I needed to stretch my legs out further. The floorboard relocators do that fine, but the pedals were too close to begin with. Buying extended ones was ridiculously expensive, but luckily a place here, Northeast Chop Shop, was able to cut and weld in and inch and a half to each. Now they feel perfect!

I also pc'd the bolts for the stock seat, just in case I ever decide to use that seat.

Thanks for all the advice and ideas I got from everyone here! Pics attached!

Looks awesome man! Great work! I'm almost finished with a ton of mods myself that I'll be posting up as soon as I get them on there. Just when I think I'm finished I think of something else.

Thanks! Yeah, I think I am pretty close to where I want it now. Next year or so I will look into a different set of fenders, turn signals, maybe mirrors.

Too bad my phone takes such crappy pics...

Speaking of turn signals, does anyone know of some nice bright ones that are low profile and can be mounted closer to the fender? I'm not a fan of those big clown eyes sticking out the sides of the bike in the rear. Not a fan of the front ones, either.

Thanks guys!

Branner, I don't know the width, they are the HD Street Slammer bars, so if you go into any dealership, they should have a set to try. I like them a lot. They let me sit up a little and have a comfortably wide grip, but not too wide.

Leech1107, that is just the standard HD fender bib, I think. Got it right at the start to cover up that ugly plastic thing, but with the new seat it doesn't really work.
