Hard to say in comparison with my FB but I scrape my board long before I would my BR 2-1 pipe.

WOW... I've only scraped my floorboards 4-5 time in 5yrs and it SKARDED the chit out of me when I do it....

I can't remember anyone In here that scraped the header pipes...

Maybe some kind of wear strip is in order, cause the FC;s are great pipes.

Honestly, it may come down to there is no reasonable answer. Softails arent designed to be ridden like a CBR1000RR. If it isnt the pipe it'll be the pegs or something else your scraping. My hat is off for your ability, but it's a bike not meant to do what your doing.

Couldnt of said it better myself....Its not a sport bike...
