what did you paint with? just plain flat krylon type? all came out looking really good, even the wheels. But having had regular spray paint in the past, it doesn't hold up. and with that much painted it's gonna be a lot of re-work each year if you care. I started using epoxy and it works like a charm

I used self-etching primer, duplicolor flat black enamel, and duplicolor clearcoat enamel. Put on a bunch of coats of each, letting them dry really good between coats. It'll last. I painted a mirror on my car three years ago the same way. It's sat outside year round in 100 degree heat, rain, snow, you name it and it still looks good. I also painted the pegs on my bike, which get the most abuse, and they're still looking good too. I will most definitely have to spray a little flat on the wheels from time to time, but that's easy.
Ha ha on the lowering. What do you guys recommend to lower her? That's one area I have no knowledge of. I'm very ready to do it, so any advice will be GREATLY appreciated.
Depends whether or not you're 2up'ing a lot and how much money you want to spend. I still 2up and I went with the $16 lowering bolts (ebay) and couldn't be happier (well, I could with a set of Shotguns, but that's an additional $1,484!).

I do some 2up'ing with my wife, but she rarely gets on. She's always been afraid she's going to fall off or something
I'll most likely go with the lowering bolts from ebay. Now I just have to figure out how to do it myself!
also have the choice of progressive 422's that run around 400, those would be better than bolts if you do 2 up.. bolts are super cheap tho and ride really doesnt change that much for riding alone!
