Think that you would be surprised percentage wise of the value of your sporty and all of your mods in comparison to the difference between a regular softy and a CVO softy. Put 3k into that little nightster and you have 30% of the msrp in mods....Not much of a difference between that percentage wise with a softy and a CVO softy. Staus symbol? I dont get that one but ok........whatever you say.

I'm not denying that. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have done it the same way. Looking back on it I probably wouldn't have even bought a sportster. But it is what it is.

I dunno maybe it's worth it to some people. To me it isn't though. I can't help but think every bike's going to have a 110 in a few years.

I know 30G is a bunch of scratch but they do retain value,I know you could build a regular Fatboy into a CVO BUT every penny you put into it is pretty much lost at trade in time while the 2 year old CVO is still going to fetch about 80% of its original cost
anyway I couldn't afford the CVO but I can still dream about it

I saw one of the red CVO softails at my local dealer the other day and I must say its an awesome looking bike. I know its a lot but I bet I already have close to the same in my FB Lo and I still want rims and suspension upgrades. The big difference is I think you can spend 30k and make your bike your own or spend 30k on a CVO. As stated above tho, the CVO will retain value much better.

i dont see the 12 grand extra for a cvo....... imo have you seen how much harley charges for the handlebars on the cvo softail? 500 some bucks for the bars without risers! lol what a joke. you can buy any after market ones that look better than them for that much!

I always liked the CVO's in every line they make them in. My favorite CVO softail was the Springer that was out a few years ago. That looked like a fun bike to toy around with.
