Illegal- what license plate mount are you running? Looks like it mounts to your bag supports and not to the fender.
That's exactly how it's done, just some flat stock bent and chromed.
I'm actually thinking of doing the same idea but putting that crossover brace behind the fender and getting a flip down plate. Just can't justify the price of it

Really like the look of your bike. Has a classy look "Upscale SoCal". What type of rear sig lights are those? Are they very visible with bags on? Any closeup pics of them with bags on?

I was thinking of the same thing in just not sure if you can use that setup on a stock width fender. I'm thinking if just stretching the stocker as opposed to getting a rear fender like the Bad Dad ones. Not ready to make it a bagger yet.

It was hard to catch the LED's with a camera as they steadily flash through lens but not the naked eye.
They're Kuryakyn strut mount mini bullets. It's kinda a SoCal mixed with street glide look.

I'd like to see one in person because if it folds where the numbers face the pavement and it goes forward enough towards the front end it will work "maybe" because of the curve of the fender on the tire side. But... It might not pull high enough to not be visible from the side
On my SG I had it mounted inside the fender up high enough that if you were too close (within 10') you only saw the bottom half of the plate.
With the bags on I don't think you could see it from the side.
I like it! On bad dads site it appears that it would flip and show more plate than you pic. I'd need it to do like their site shows, doing it like yours would get ripped off quick on my bike.
Is yours from bd? Is it loud like their videos seem?
Mine was just a homemade version that was stationary. No flipping. I never hit it but did scrape a bag or two on some corners on occassion. Fefinitelt gonna have to something on the bottoms next set.
