New Poll - Tag Mounting

OK, so here's one for ya...

What is the proper direction to install a side-mounted license plate:

a)with the bottom of the plate towards the tire, or
b) with the top of the plate towards the tire.

I'm taking a poll... (actually, I think I'm just bored since I can't ride during this whacked out Chicago Winter.)

I put mine top toward tire. It just seemed more logical that way.

If I had one, I would put the top towards the tire. That way if you are standing on that side of the bike you could read it, on the other side you wouldn't see it anyway.
