Hello, I recently installed V&H true duals with quiet baffles on my 08 Heritage Softail along with the V&H Fuel Pak and the Mark 2 air cleaner from Kuryakyn.
What I'm wondering is if anyone has installed different mufflers onto the header pipes of the V&H true duals. I would like to sound to be a little deaper but keep the dual look. Has anyone found a set of mufflers that will mount onto the true dual head pipes with the mounts that are already in place? TIA!

Yes I just did this I put a set of Samson S-263 4 inch slipon mufflers on my V&H true duals I had to get the mounting brackets from samson the ones that bolt to the frame and hold up the mufflers. Everything fit fine but you have to loosen everything up put your mufflers on then retighten from the front to the back. You can see from me pic.

Sound is deeper tone than I had with the V&H slipons. I like it better. For what its worth you can go to the Samson website and listen to the sounds of diff mufflers that 4 inch is one of them. You have to click on the whole system duals with 4 inch to listen.
