Default evo smoking

hi yall... i have a 99 fxstc. all at once started smoking out of exaughst. looks and smells like oil, no oil consumption that i know of.. looks little overfull on oil. i pulled some of it out.. have always put 3 qts in on oil change.. can someone plz help.. it has 65k on motor i have had it since 12k never had any problems out of this bike..

All the time.. Started after a bad rain ride lol.. Then thought had got some bad gas. Drained it out put in new.

A lil more explicit with details, please.
Did you just get some bad gas? That would be lucky. Does it smoke only at start up? Good chance that would be valve guides. Does it smmoke all the time? Good chance that would be rings. Lets hope you just got a lil bad gas, lil brother.

lol...must have posted that while I was answering. My earlier post would is still a worthwhile read but other things to consider would be head gasket, is the carb vented(maybe got plugged with soot), have you plulled the ac and inspected the carb?

Took vent from carb and dropped hose down thru frame to try that... Looks like blue smoke to me.. Sorry for not very good detail was at work lol.. Pulled plugs out they look good..

a valve guide could have come loose enough to allow oil to slip by it into the cylinder

Thats what I am wondering.. Running fine just lil bit of smoke when at idle

it was weird all of it started after the ride in rain last week...

Before I went too far trouble shooting, I'd eliminate the breather hoses that run to the air filter backing plate as the cause. Make sure there are no obstructions from the rocker boxes to the backing plate. Clean all the hoses and, if equipped, check valves by removing them and cleaning them with aerosol carb cleaner ...
