Default Ape hangers

Looking into buying 18" apes. Just curious if anyone has something to say about the Demon Cycle "El Diablo" apes. I Know that Demon has a horrible reputation for their customer service and return policies are horrible. But i really like those. If anyone has them and has something to say I would greatly appreciate it. And if anyone can give me some help with finding "Ape kits". Thanks everyone

Ape kits. I've read a few reviews on the net about the chrome peeling right out of the box and Demon would not exchange them.

I forgot to mention that I have purchased the 1 1/4"x16" Wild1 apes with the chrome controls and braided cables and with the wires preinstalled from www.hillcountrycustomcycles.com to use on the Dyna that I used to have. All I can say is top notch.

I did my apes last summer with a pre-wired kit from www.hillcountrycustomcycles.com. Everything was top-notch, exactly as described, and fit like perfection. I ride a lot, and see all kinds of weather - no issues with any chrome anywhere. I'd recommend these guys any day.

Depends on the look your going for. Mike said it all, you get what you pay for.
Check BR's and then take a peek at Carlinis. I like the radical look and both have some killer lookin styles.

HCC isn't much better. You can see the grind marks under the cheap chrome process. You get what you pay for.
