Some people are just ignorant to the obvious. There is no such thing as "you get what you pay for" when it comes to aftermarket motorcycle parts and their quality, to a certain extent. This goes right back to a debate that arose here a while back about one particular high dollar fat spoke wheel brand and another fat spoke wheel brand that is half the price of the other. Higher price does not always, or better yet, very seldom guarantees quality in the product or customer service. So, to people that refuse to accept the obvious. If you want to pay extra for a name, then by all means, knock yourself out.
lmfao @ ghost's remark callin anyone ignorant. No doubt its all about what your pocketbook can afford in this economy but as we all know there are differences in the quality of workmanship. 200fiveOh was giving his opinion on a product just as you were with another. Personally I thought it was interestin how the original poster asks about a set of apes and then comes right back claiming he already has a set of 16" Carlinis on his scoot. Something totally wrong with that post.
Edit: I hate when I typo...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr * laffs

I don't get why it's funny that the OP has 16" Carlini Apes. The style he wants is the "evil" style, completely different, and he's also looking for something higher than what he has, as am I.
I have Wild 1 chubby's, They're 14's. The person selling them to me told me they were 16. Should a good deal on 16 or 18's come along I'd jump on it in a heartbeat.
Seriously Fatboy? whats wrong with the post? Like Toxicstang said, im OBVIOUSLY looking for something bigger. Bought the bike with the Carlini's already on it, and woouldnt mind a different style......... Makes sense to me
