Engine choking after adding true duals 06 softail
Just installed a set is Samson true duals and fish tails. The pipes came with torque cones and the bullseyes. Sound great but at low rpms, it chokes or kinda cuts out? What causing this? Lack of back pressure? Will adding baffles help. Thanks

A backfire is a lean condition, harley's have to have some back pressure. Your fuel map may also be a bit on the lean side. My 06 Train had very short s&s dump pipes and coughed and backfired a lot when I first bought it. The solution was changed the pipes and a fresh tune up and with stage 1 map.

Choking or cutting out sounds like the bike may be starving for fuel. You may want to change your air/fuel mixture to help remedy this situation. The lollypop in the pipe is also an easy remedy for this sort of issue. Torque cones could help as well.
