I have a 2004 Heritage and looking for the quick release bag options. I like the option of removing the bags but would like to speed up the process. I also want a finished look once the bags are removed the magnetized thread covers or equivelent are preferred.
What is available?
Cyclevisions Barebacks, they work great! Do yourself a favor and get the ones with the quick connect for the sissybar incase you find a little cutie who wants to join ya but doesn't want to ride her own sled!! I had to buy both sets because of this mistake!

I have a 04 heritage and when i got it there was a quick release system.
It was apparently a crap system and my bag fell off twice, so i ordered a $30 kit from HD which lets me bolt the bags right to the bike. Im assuming its the OEM setup, but I have no idea.
removing 2 bolts is no problem for me, in exchange for the peace of mind that my bags are still there after a nice bump
PS, this is not the typical case .. tons of people love the QR systems, i just happen to have some bad luck i suppose.
