Default +1 on Leather Pros

After my attempt at putting some used HD Road King Bags on my Springer Classic went bust, I took the plunge and went with some Leather Pros #4007 bags. I was doubly convinced after reading Liquid1's post (https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-on-my-lo.html).
I have to tell you that these are QUALITY bags!
I bolted mine up in about 15 minutes with the only delay being running a tap through one of the bolt holes to clean out the original thread lock compound used by the MoCo. They cam lock on so securely yet they can come off in seconds! I love the key lock feature to keep the contents secure and the bag cam lock feature to prevent theft of the bags should the entry lock be defeated. The stitching is tight and uniform with no straggler threads. The leather is beautifully finished and they even throw in a sample kit of leather conditioner. I did not use it yet, but am pleased with the thought of helping the new owners take care of their bags.
These bags are the cats azz, as far as I am concerned. I am finally going to take my new-to-me bike on a weekender over the Memorial Day holiday and I will report back on how much I packed and how things went, etc.
Also bought a Biker's Friend round trunk bag that seems to be quite up to the task.
When I am loaded with gear for my weekend camping trip, I'll take some photos and post listing contents.
Seems to me that the storage I have is more than adequate for a weekend and may be even enough for a week on the road (camping, but buying meals) before having to do laundry.
All I can add is that if you are in the market for high quality leather bags, Leather Pros make a fine set at a very reasonable price!

My cell phone camera does not work for some reason, but click the link in my opening post. It will take you to liquid1r's post of last week with excellent pics of the bags on his bike.
I'll post some of them on my bike if I have to use the wife's camera when I get back on town.
