The better the grip the shorter they last, the longer they last the less they grip. I'm running an Avon venom, but its really grippy so it's all about what your looking for.

I'm running the Avon as well right now and like the way it grips. From what I've researched Metz and Avon are great choices. There's some very positive reviews on the Perilli's too.

Avon Cobra is what I run. I prefer the Venom, but they don't make them in our size. I ran Venoms on my Yammi Warrior and was more than happy with them. I'm on my third set of Cobras and won't change to anything else. I did try a Shinko once. It was a good sticky tire with decent life, but I didn't like the smaller diameter since it my engine revved a bit higher and speedo was off.

I was getting 7 to 8 thousand miles out of the 402. I am now running the Dunlap E3. Have just over 8 thousand and it still looks pretty good. I've got 23 thousand on the front original Dunlap 401.

Default Night dragons

Pirelli Night Dragons !!! LOVE them. havent tried all other makes, but if u want grip in the corners an wet these babies r the ones (In my book).

End of the day, its the only thing brtween us an the road aye

I run them on both my 05 Streetrod an 08 Fatboy.

I get around 6000miles on the streetrod, but picking ill be stuggling to get that on the fatboy..heaps left on the sides but middle taking a heavy hit ( my thinking is because i do alot of touring on the fatboy 2up an fully loaded down with gear

But will still go buy a new set (at $760nz,,,Ouch) each time, because i believe in their proformance that much

I run them both at 36(F) 38(R),,,41(R) if touring

Does anyone think 41 (R) is the reason it may be chopping out so quick ?.. is ther a better pressure to b running, only going by the book

chrs, Bill

Most people want a tire to last for a lot or miles, not a FEW..

Most sticky tires will wear out faster so U will be happy with them.
