I've done some searching on the forum and found a few threads but nothing solid. I would like to install a radio on my 04' Softail Standard. I'm tired of using headphones or bluetooth headsets. I'd like to get a clean, small form factor radio, not worried about the hand controls like they have on the full dresers. I would just like to have a radio so I can hear it while on highway rides. Suggestions? If it matters, I have 18" apes on the bike without a windshield. Thanks guys
I don't have one myself but I did see a post recently from Lizdc who has the extremecycle radio/mp3 player. I checked it out online and it looked like a decent radio at a good price. Hard to go wrong with J&M but my guess is their system will go for more. Either system would be worth checking out.
Thanks for your reply Jimmers. I looked into those two models and honestly not a big fan. My bike has a real clean simple look to it, I'm afraid adding those big speakers to the bars would make it look funny. I was hoping for a low profile radio with the speakers built in or even hidden elsewhere.
Any other options out there, if not I may be stuck with the bluetooth headset running from my phone.

I just finished putting Hogtunes ma2 on my Super Glide this weekend. Everything fits in a fork bag and I set it up with quick release connections so I can take it off to wash the bike. At 62mph I could hear the music but I knew the words of the song.
