Thanx man...but damn. Our big *** lisc plates (AB Canada) won't work with that set up. Oh well...props to to you guys. Just looked at your site...yes the price is good.
Going to be some happy customers on the new design.
Cheers.
PM please me if the bags can be modified to work. Hate to hijack this thread now over my bike.
I also like this design but last time I looked the Osprey bags are cheaper, on a plus note I saw a set of these at a show on saturday and they were very well made.
*Seems like U still have the zip-up inner under the lids or do am I wrong? for water proofing?
*Still not sure on Ur explication of how their are water tight.??
* Fringe,, do U make them with some fringe on the lids. or bottom? I made all of the fringe on the bike including bags and mounted them on the inner lids. see below.
* Do they fit on my Heritage hardware or will I need what U sell or does it come with the bags.
I've like the Heritage Springer bags since I've seen the first one's on one and Ur bags are a very close look thats even improved.
How do they compare to storage area vs the stock Heritage bags.?
I'll look up about the cost and think about them.
Heres a pic of what I did to ours I've done all the fringe and spots added to her and even made the Bib/backrest on the rear fender out of the stock pillion seat..
They look great. I'm in the market for a set of springer style bags for my springer classic, do these come with easy brackets included in the price and does the basket weave match the smaller print on a springer classic tank chap? Thanks
not sure there for my Heritage, basket weave less spots.. but the quality looks and seems top notch..
If I may add without being out of line, the back view pics of the bags I see online it seems to me that if the rear of the bags had something, even a concho with a leather strap or something it'd brake up the flat look from the rear...
Think twice about the abs backing on the lid. I'm not familiar with HogDeluxe bags. I do have the Osprey springer bags. Good bags, well made. A couple negatives I dont like the flat inside panel, wished it was formed to fit Rear swingarm and axle assy. Also, the cover flap is lined with ABS plastic like the HogDeluxe and when the bike sits in the heat and sun the ABS expands and grows more than the leather causing the flap to curl and roll up on the ends. Its happened so much that the R. side lid has a permaneant curl in it.
