ok so 2 weeks ago i pushed my fatboy out of garage and washed and detailed all day, while never starting it up. so today i unwraped it and decided to go for a short ride, the engine was extremly hard to start and miss and backfired, i dried out the plus wire and coil with compressed air.after about 30 mins of running the engine still is backfiring, what have i got wet or done.or do i have a ing. problem thanks

Not sure if this is the problem but when I first got my bike
and washed it, I never covered the air cleaner assembly.
so water was just sitting in there. Well you could guess what
happened when I first started her and rode a little. She would
cough bad for a few blocks. Hope this helps.
you were correct canuck, i remove the filter, even though it didnt seem wet, dried with compressed air, let set in texas sun for a couple hours,, stars and runs fine now. good ol k&n. thanks for your input
