Was going to to the the DNAs but found a pair of used RWs for the same price. And although they were used, Sam offered any help I needed to get these on my bike. Turned out I didn't need any; they bolted right up with no mods.

I agree with Ghost, go through a dealer. It was KC Int that got mine swapped out and that is who I just ordered through again. And...DNA raised their price by $50 per wheel according to Doug at KC. Glad I ordered mine a few weeks ago.

I think it boils down to, if you have the extra coin and like throwing it away at the illusion of having better customer support and a better product then by all means blow the coin. I have been around Harley Davidson and the aftermarket scene for over 20 years and I know from first hand experience that paying more does not mean you are getting a better product or better customer support. It usually just means that your gullible for buying into that misconception. I can promise this, all of the above mentioned wheel manufacturers use hubs that are turned on a cnc lathe. They all use steel for the rims. They all use Stainless spokes and steel nipples. There is nothing at all to warrant the extra grand between DNA and two of the others, nothing. Hell, for the extra grand they better be sending the hottest secretary they have to my house to install them and she better not be wearing anything while doing it. But, then again I can get that just about anywhere for less than a grand.

Ghost,
I may have a few close ups loaded up on photobucket. my profile is open to the public, its the same handle as here on HD forums. so feel free to take a look around. my problem is that my buddy is a photog. so Im a little spoiled man. I take crap pictures next to him. so every now and then, I just roll over to his place and he pulls out the hardware and starts snapping away. I'll prob. have him do another shoot this summer since I added the nacelle and a few other goodies that I havent even told anyone on here about yet.

Happy with dna's here I figure if these go bad I can buy another new set of DNA and still be less for one set of wr.

rims, tires, and rotors for less than half the price of RW's. Easy decision for me...

got 21x3.5, 18x3.5, rotors, & pulley from DNA for a good price. Couldn't justify the extra grand for pretty much the same look. Haven't had any issues thus far. Cant wait to install everything! Bike is going to look so sexy.

I got my Ultima fat spokes from Jerieh. Cost my 245.00 (?) for each wheel. Got the Pulley for around a hundred and each rotor for about 75.00 each. Had to wait on back order for a while but the cost savings was huge compared to other places. The chrome is great and they are sealed for running tubless.

Saw some vendors selling these at a couple of swap meets and they wanted 800.00 to a 1000.00 for a set. I just laughed and walked away. But as posted Ultima's are only for 99 and older bikes. (These are going on my 87 FXR project.)
