Default Memorial Day.

I just wanted to take this time to thank all of you Vet's that are on here for your service and sacrifice. All though our politicians constantly try to screw this country up it is still the best place to live and enjoy the freedoms that we all have and live. You have not gone unforgotten and we thank you all. Many take so much for granted, I do not! Thank you and may God bless and protect you all. We all ride free because of your sacirifices.

Veterans day is for us lucky guys, today is for those who gave all. God bless them and their families.

Its a solemn brotherhood that nobody wants to join but whose ranks garner the greatest respect and gratitude for the sacrifice made. We honor them in our remembrance today.

well said Motown, so many have left loved ones behind it's the ultimate sacrifice and words will never be enough to express how thankful I am that I'm able to do the things I do today...

I agree with you guys 100%. However, I have to say after riding around town today, I am a bit disappointed with the lack of American flags being flown today. It's hard to find the American flag being flown at a residence, much less the POW/MIA flag. Sadly, I believe this day has (for far too many Americans) become just another excuse to save an extra 15% at the local retailer during their Memorial Day sale.

Though all the sentements are nice, Motown is right, Memorial Day is a day for remembering our brothers who didn't come back. Those of us who made it home get our day later in the year.

The real hero is always a hero by mistake; he dreams of being an honest coward like everybody else. - Umberto Eco
