I agree that with most it's just another Holiday. Another free day off of work or your sale at your local strip mall. It is far more personal to me. We live and ride free because of those who paid the ultimate price for freedom. I have 2 loved ones who were lucky enough to return from war but they were not the same people as when they left. The unthinkable horrors they witnessed, we, can't imagine. Memorial day will always be just one thing for me and that is personal as well.

Though all the sentements are nice, Motown is right, Memorial Day is a day for remembering our brothers who didn't come back. Those of us who made it home get our day later in the year.
