Forgot - still thinking about apes - love the look on a Fatboy, just don't want to invest in all new cables. If I could find a good deal on some Carlini Flying Apes or Gangsters I would probably do it ... but then I see my current bars from a certain angle and not sure I want to get rid of them!

Your bike looks clean and muscular. The nacelle, and wide, low bars create a strong look up front, while the smooth fender and wide tire do the same on the rear. I love your current bars and I think that switching to apes would really take away from the consistent low-down style you have. I didn't think I would like the tank lift on a bike like yours, but it's better than I expected and it makes the bars look lower -- which is cool.

Thanks - appreciate the positive comments. I was thinking the same thing about the lifted tank making handlebars look a little lower. Still considering apes, but gonna wait awhile and see if I find a good deal - definitely not desparate to change current setup - just think some flying apes would look real good on the bike.

Your bike looks real good with the taller lift. I like the extra space under the tank and being able see the entire cylinder/cover.
