I have the 05 Anniversary in black with an 88. The Anniversary model also could be fuel injection. I bought mine this past Feb., with 11K miles, price was in the 9 range. So far love it, put 1K on it since Mar.
Someone put a few dollars in it already, notice 2 into 1 , diamond cut heads and some extra shine. I've been on a couple of Heritage softail previous and this is one smooth ride .
Thanks for the replies guys. Its good to hear the salesman was as least being straight with me. Its also great to see the other ones you guys have, and have modded. I checked at a fill-up stop today and went 148 miles and used 3.01 gallons of gas. Thats 49 freakin' miles per gallon. Not bad for an injected 95 inch motor. And less than half of that was interstate. She really does ride fantastic, with great power and nice handling. Scraped the boards a few times as well, leaning into turns. I will be watching the Softail section for as many ideas as I can get, then I can begin doing her up proper.
Thats a nice bike and I love that it has thr 95 right from the factory. Looking forward to seeing what you turn it in to. It's your bike so do as you wish but I like the style of HarleyHeaven's 2005 before the apes. I'm not a bike ape or cholo fan....to each his own....Good luck!
Hey Bikerlaw, I've seen you on the Dyna side several times. Looks like I might be making the switch to the Softail side too. I should be closing on a 2010 FB in the next day or so. I love my Street Bob, but need something a bit more comfortable for 2-up riding and longer trips.

Btw, that '05 FB is SWEET!
You wont regret it. I really liked my SB but the rock solid feel of a softail is what I like.
