Long story short, I order Samson 33" Long Tails 2 weeks ago, supposed have been in a week ago, then today and the shop I ordered from says now they are a few weeks out still. They claim samson told them today that the 33" longtails for the 2012 softails went to chrome today and hope to have them back next week so 2 weeks looks realistic. If what he is telling me is true, which I guess I have no reason to doubt him.
My issue is that I bought some used boss bags, 40D, off a member here and they don't fit with the stock exhaust. I knew this going in but with my pipes supposed to be here a week ago it shouldn't have been an issue. I'm looking for a cheap/free solution to get the bags mounted until my new pipes finally come in. I think they are the older style that won't work with the stock exhaust so now I have these sweet bags sitting in my garage, a trip to take where I need the bags, and nothing I can do.
