Has anyone installed ape hangers with 3.5in knurl spacing on their Springer? Have you had any issues? I have a 2008 Cross Bones and want taller apes. However, the center width for Springer apes are too wide for my taste. Thanks!

I have a Xbones and installed 10" apes. the challenge is the mounting width for sure. If you are getting 1" bars you may get away with it if the base is wide enough end to end. but if you are getting 1.5" chubby bars then you will need to get springer specific Apes. with the proper space for mounting.

I highly advice you swap your riser mounts too as the factory X-bones risers lose grip easily so the bars rotate out of position, and it would likely be worse if the knurls aren't in the right locations.
