@Tcrafty "I had looked at those SHinkos. Let me know how you like them after a few miles and you get them properly broken in."
Finally got the neck bearings replaced and the springer adjusted. Not as bad as I thought, but also not a walk in the park. Anyways, I was able to get some good miles in on the Shinkos with plenty of twisties included and let me tell you, they perform much better than I expected them to. There is a noticeable transition to the shoulder when you are being super aggressive, but it isn't a violent or dangerous feeling and is very well mannered; I wouldn't take it much past that point though as that isn't what these tires are designed for. All in all, I am very happy with them!
Added an auxiliary light bar to mine, and since it is impossible to find amber LED spots, I bought some tractor LEDs and painted them amber. Very happy with the way they came out!
Today I am installing a ThunderMax Tuner and packaging a spare pair of heads to go to Dan Vance for a stage 4 port job. Tomorrow I will be pulling the cam chest and checking crank run out. If in spec will be doing a 100ci big bore kit this winter, if out of spec then the bottom end is going to be redone with an S&S crank and a 121ci kit.
