Does anyone know of a dealer in SoCal or Vegas that actually stocks Saddlemen seats? I'm interested in buying one, but I'd like to see it before I buy it. But apparently, this doesn't fit Saddlemen's business model. I called/emailed Saddlemen for a week and after I finally got them to answer the phone, they told me that all I could do is buy a seat and hope for the best as they do not accept returns. Some dealers do accept returns, but it will cost you shipping (which is pretty expensive for a seat) and a 20% restocking fee.
Maybe I am asking too much.... but I'd simply like to see the seat before I buy it. Seats are very individualized items and you just can't tell if a seat is compatible by looking at it on a website or getting opinions from other riders.
So, if anyone knows of a dealer that stocks Saddlemen seats, I'd love to know who they are.
I have an Ultimate Seat right now that I'm not satisfied with. I have it for sale on the classified section. I did find a distributor that said if I didn't like the Saddlemen seat, I could return it with no restocking fee. I think I'll order one next week.
