Gettin very annoyed with these guys, I ordered my smooth tombstone on the 25th I was told they would have them the 29th from chrome, 29th comes they tell me they haven't shipped yet and it would be the following week. The following week comes I call, still haven't shipped. Than I'm told 14-15 I call and now they don't have the rubber gaskets and its gonna be another week. Worst part is the are a local company. Have a show this weekend and it would have been nice if they got there **** together. End rant
That's unfortunate and can understand your frustration. They were one of the better customer service oriented companies I dealt with back during my build. Sent out a replacement tombstone without question when there was a flaw in the chrome. Sucks they were out of stock and at the mercy of whoever does their chroming.
I didn't know it was on back order till after I paid for it. Then they promised early the following week. They are only located about 20 mins from my house so I figured I could save on shipping. Oh well
Just hang in there Pal, I know things can get you down when delivery dates get changed but it'll be worth the wait, great product & changes the view of the whole back end! One of my best mods! (even with it being a small one)
I don't have much to offer other my two experiences with them on these exact products went well.
Things happen, and sometimes there are hold ups in production. How well they communicate is up to them. Perhaps they had several folks to make aware, and simply overlooked you. Mistakes happen.
It's just a brake light housing.
I've come to learn on this forum, there are a lot of perfect people out there, and apparently most of them ride Harleys.
Took 3 weeks to get my relocater kit, called them after 2 weeks they were strait to the point (nothing wrong with that) said when the goods get back from the chromer they would send it out which they did. You'll be so happy with how good it looks you'll quickly forget the wait
I dunno about the timelines... And some people say the economy stinks. If the way work has been this year I am positive I could not handle a boom economy. Just sayin
