Default Any differences in cables?

I just got some apes, pics to come, and figured I would mock them up and measure what length cables I will need.

Is there any difference between cable brands out there and if so help me understand what direction I should be going?

Any of the major brands would probably be fine. I'm happy with my Magnum Chromite IIs. About $260 for the whole set. Less expensive than what my dealer wanted for the HD ones which their parts guy said were made by Magnum.

Yes there is a difference... coloring.. width.. fading.. ect...

I've had 3 different brands of cables and Magnum Chromite IIs are hands down the best... I was trying to save few bucks so went with the cheaper brands. What a mistake that was. Ended up costing me more $$$ in the long run.

My first set of cables were made by Drag Specialties.. Alot thinner cable and after about 6 months the cables plastics started fading... turning a brownish coloring... sucked!!

Second set... forgot what brand they were did the exact same thing... sucked!!

Magnum Chromite IIs are still good to go! Also they are brighter of a cable.. great product!

Goodridge cables are working fine for me, look good too. I like the black chromite from Magnum as well.
