During this morning's coffee, I decided again to adventure out to the general discussion forum. After a few reads...that's enough. Sure there are a lot of good bike enthusiast threads to enjoy...but also a whole lot of nothing and beaten topics. Plus I just can't relate to sportys haha.
It's nice knowing that the Softail section is more about the bike and not us! Which I am sure a few feel the same way. Why I rather babble here than there heh. Here we all have one thing in common....our love for the softys. Nice and cozy.
Morning. I check it out if nothing in here I either contribute some of my limited experience, or learn from. Or laugh at. Some pretty wacked stuff in there I have no interest getting involved with.
I don't venture out of the softy garage area much myself. I have enough trouble keeping myself out of trouble in here, let alone out there where the gunslingers stir up some pretty hot topics on occasion. lol But now that riding season is in full swing my time has become limited online and I don't feel like I get on here as much as I need to.
In fact, can't believe I'm sitting in the house this morning, beautiful forecast (low 80's, 0% rain) for the carolina's this weekend and it looks like the OL is up to some gamesmanship and isn't in the mood to ride.
Tried a couple of the specialty areas and didn't get much. I guess I get what I need in here. Some good information, a little camaraderie and occasionally a soap box and nobody seems to mind or take offense when I feel like making my opinion known.
I surpose I might be called a Nomad, I have a poke around in most sites except the Baggers and V rod ones not into them atall, I find most of the funny **** taking stuff is on the BS and Of Topic forums.
Met some real good peeps in here. Lookin forward to meetin more. AND THE BIKES!!!!!! Oh, the beautiful bikes!!! I've been to plenty of shows and seen plenty of rydes. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. NOTHING compares to a softail!! And in my opinion, I think the most beautiful and badass softies are right here in this place!!! I seriously look forward to seeing someone in here post new pics of their ryde or seeing pics of a newb with their new ryde!!
CHEERS BOYS!! Now let's gettanotha drink! (hic).
