The stock seat on my 09 Fatboy looks great but my butt only lasts about 100 miles on it. Considering moving to Corbin but can't decide which model. I absolutely need a backrest.
Classic solo looks great and the one on my g/f's 07 Fatboy is very comfortable, but the backrest doesn't fold down making it tough to get my leg over.
The Dual Tour looks comfy and backrest folds but I never ride two up so I'm concerned with looks. Is the pillion too much of a bustle look?
Gunfighter has the folding backrest and a nice small profile, esp. the pillion. But how comfortable will it be on a long (400-500 mile) ride?
For comparison, I recently tried out the HD Signature seat w/backrest. Not much more comfy on my butt than the stock FB seat although the backrest is great. But the pillion section looks HUGE ruining the lines of the bike, IMO.
I have had 2 MoCo seats, two Danny Gray, one Corbin and one LePera.
All came up short after a couple of hours.
I run a Mustang Vintage Solo, and it's the only seat I will ever run again. I can ride literally all day without a hint of pain.
I have my own saga with seats... here they are in chronological order:
Stock - SUCKS after like 1/2 hour
Mustang vintage with attached passenger pillion - very good, very comfy, but big fat ugly
Le Pera Sillouhette Deluxe - looks AWESOME but SUCKS as soon as you sit on it (my riding buddy calls it my park bench!!)
Corbin Solo Classic with backrest - my latest and greatest. Bought this seat then immediately went on a 1400 mile weekend trip. Did very well, but apparently not waterproof???? It rained overnight at the hotel I was staying at and the next morning I wiped her down but still had damp pants for 2 hours. Very comfy, did even better than the Mustang.... this seat is a keeper.... FINALLY!!!!
Can u post a picture of the Corbin classic solo with and without the backrest. I am looking at the close solo but I haven't been able to see a pic of it on a bike.

I don't have the camera handy, but here's the site where they got pics of the seat, and/or backrest, and/or passenger pillion.
2009 FLSTF stock HD seat has been plenty comfortable on longer rides. Shopping for an every day solo, narrow & lower. Danny Grays nice, but expensive, Corbin Hollywood looks good, La Pera vinyl-does it hold up? Any used seats available out there?

Comfort -- Mustang. Best I've had!!!
Agree on the looks. Not my favorite. But I don't care!!
I've had my Corbin on ebay for a bit. No takers?! Eeeh.
I might just store it until I can't look at the Mustang.
I really just want a regular Corbin Gunfighter. The close pushes
me - well pretty close. For regular day rides they're fine.
Long rides 300 mi per day + (MUSTANG!!!)
I've never had the full on Corbin touring seat. I do like the back supt
the Corbin offers. Mustang has none w-o the riderbackrest in place.
I had the deep sundowner when I 1st got the bike in 00.
That was a pile of monkey nuts. Numb butt in 50 mi.
