I'm taking it to Daytona and having it dynoed again by someone who is supose to be a good dyno-man. I'm in FL so its about a 2 hr drive from where I am. Will post the results when I have it finished.
Hey boogie, thanks for the compliment on the color.
Imentioned in an earlier post I had mine done in Laconia, just in case you would like to talk to some others before you go with your guy, the people that did mine are called "SPEEDS PERFORMANCE PLUS" They have a real nice setup and hit all the bike rallies.
Good luck, hope you get the performance you arte looking for.
1deuce3,
your suggestion only confirms my decision. That's the place where I am going to have the tune done. You're the third person to recommend them.
You won't be disappointed they are good guys, it is a father and his two sons whorun it, they know what they are doing, the father does all the dyno work. Get there early in the morning, they get real busy. good luck.
My '05 is FI with the stage I and Fat Cat exhaust. My dyno took the bike from 67hp/73tor to 74/77. A modest increase on an otherwise stock 88B, but the bike runs well. My fuel milage dropped from 50+mpg to down around 43/45mpg after the dyno.
I'm still looking for some better numbers from a tune. I still have some decel popping and a slight hesitation off the line. I expect more from the 96ci.
I would'nt be real upset that it dives at 4700rpm.I'll bet some money thet you rarely ride at that rpm, unless your drag racing. My bike pulls great in the low to mid range.I'll rarely see over 5000-55000 rpm anyway.

you mightwant to check out Jim Brown for dyno tuning. He does mobile dyno tuning in the central florida area and from what I have heard about him is that he is a pretty good tuner. www.braggingrightscycle.com
