Spectro makes a good oil too. I'm due to change mine and going to use Spectro. My first change I went to SE heavy and really liked the firmer feel much better and no more bottoming out the forks. http://www.spectro-oils.com/?p=300

Heres the deal, I had a buddy pick me up some fork oil. I told him to tell the guys a HD that I needed 5w oil. He told them that and proceeded to tell them what bike I had. I think they just skipped hearing the 5w part of it and just sent what the bike takes stock. Problem for me is, by the time I get off work, everythings closed. I live and work 25 miles from town. I'd say out in the sticks, but theres not many trees.....I might have to wait till sat. morning to make a run to get some oil with 5w in the f'n bottle. Thanks for the info guys

FYI I think 15w works the best for me -almost all my bikes have been changed to 15w in them and everyone I put it in, I felt it firmed them up for the better.
IMHO my new to me 07 heritage is way to soft in the suspension, front and rear, well it is a "soft"-tail right? LOL After 5k miles I come to the conclusion mine needs a stiffening up in the suspension dept.

Not to mention the rear shocks were set up for a 125 lb rider. Had to put 3 turns to my rear shocks to get them right.

Thanks for that info I was wondering if there was an adjustment. I'll read up and do it. This is my first softie so I'm in a learning mode.

AFAIK, type E fork oil is 5w. It is what comes stock, and stock bikes call for 5w fork oil. I have the Ricors as well, been running the type E with them for about 1500 miles and they seem to be fine with it.
