Thanks for your concern guys, LOL, good job I can laugh about it, I've just finished washing it down with degreaser, hosed it off and blew it dry, then finished it off with a towel, I'll polish it tomorrow, not sure how much oil I lost I'll dip it tomorrow.
this happened at 10pm tonight, I only got the bike back from the Indy at 8pm, so that makes it even worse, the paintwork has been righted by the paint shop and the Covington Panhead and RSD cam cover have been fitted, also the Freight train Nacelle. I'll take some pictures when its cleaned, but its quite a big transformation.
DO NOT, take the cap of your oil tank when your sitting at traffic lights with your engine running!.
Dont ask me why I know this, I think I must of been having a blonde moment, suffce to say. its gonna take me hours to feckin clean it.
Boy am I pissed off.
When sitting at traffic lights with your engine running, don't lick the exhaust system either. Not that I've ever tried it mind you, it is just one of those "this might not be a good idea" things.

Must admit, I have licked the freezer compartment though at a party, wasn't a good idea but I do have the excuse of alcohol! LOL!
You could be like my nephew - he forgot that, when it's freezing out, and you put your hands on the heads to warm up at the stoplight, you have to have LEATHER gloves, not the plastic miracle stuff.
