Did some searching on here and read a few threads about Push Rod Tubes not sealing and leaking oil at the O-Ring. Looking for a second (or more) opinion on my situation...wondering if I have the same? I have less than 2k miles on the bike, haven't touched the motor and out of the blue am getting oil splatter on the rear most PR Tube, Rear Exhaust at the Head and the Oil Tank. See photos...
Is this a new '09 bike with only 2000 miles on it? If so, I guess the o-rings could've shrunk (maybe, but...) or dry rotted. You could take the clip off and take a look at it. Not difficult to do.

Yeah, bought it from a lady that won it from an HD Dealer in a raffle Jan of '10...had not even been started 'till I bought it August of last year.
I'll pull the clip when it cools down and check the O-Ring...

Nah, I don't. It's weird, it just started out of the blue...
Typically when you see oil in those areas after a ride it is coming from the breather tubes behind the A/C. They get dry and crack, might be worth a look.

I installed the K&N Charger a couple of months ago with brand new O-Rings, which I lubed before installing...but, I might pull them for inspection just ot be sure there are no problems. Good idea, thanks!
Too much oil on filter? Had my deuce dripping into the filter cover and getting blow back while riding onto those exact spots. Oh wait, do you not oil those K&N's ?

I thought about the same thing fellas. I can run my hands all over the filter and not get any residue on my hands at all...so I don't think that is where it is coming from....good thought though.
