Default Back from a long ride...

I just thought I'd report back after one sweet ride! Ok, maybe this is the wrong form, but whatever, lol... I left P.E.I. Canada (google it) and me and some buddies rode down to Bermingham, Alabama. What a ride!!! I have to say I was some of the best riding I have ever done. We went to North Carolina last summer, but this beat it for sure. I got to finish off a few parts of the Blueridge Mountains that we missed last year, and I got to hit Georgia and Alabama for the first time in my life. Met lots of great people both off and on bikes, and I can't get over how great we were treated. Hats off to a few dealers along the way that kept us on the road, and thanks to a few locals we met at the dealer in Carlisle for a great ride and the cold beer. Oh, and to keep it softail related, the bike held-up great! I was traveling with three touring bikes but the softy kept up great. I was 2-up and fully loaded (we were gone for 12 days) and I have no complaints at all. Best part about a softy, when you get to where you're going, strip her down and you have your cool bike. But a touring is always a touring.

Nice. Glad to hear everything went well after chasing those engine problems for awhile.

+1. Glad to hear everything worked out. Happy that the people back East were able to show you some hospitality.

Those southern states are amazing. Glad you had a good trip, I however want to make it out east to PEI. I have not been east of Saskatchewan here in Canada. I need to see more of the country I live in.
