When you say "buzzing" are you talking about a sound or a feeling?
I've never heard any such buzzing sound on my bike, and if it's vibration you're talking about, the 6th gear make higher speeds smoother, but the bike never vibrated any more than a V twin should.

I was talking about feeling, you know, making your hands numb after a long ride and that tingling in your feet... I do not know if this was true but i did read about it a few times on here.
There's more to the tingling hands things than just the bike. I ride an unbalanced, rigid mounted EVO and I have to go 100+ miles before I experience any tingling, and even then, its minor. OTOH, my buddy has a 2010 Street Glide and he starts shaking his hands at around 30 miles or so, and does it on and off the rest of the day when we're riding. I ride with other guys that have to have backrests, while others hate them. Compared to my bike, any balanced Softail feels like a Caddy, so I guess its all about perspective and tolerance.
