Get a oil dipstick with a temp gauge and see how hot it gets. Is this a new bike to you? Have you had Harley's before? These bikes get hot and it doesn't take long. If you've noticed a change in it from what it used to be, then yeah, you might have troubles.
Yeah, you haven't said if you've had it long. I have a 96b that supposedly runs cooler and my leg feels like its on fore at a stop light in this 100+ degree weather.

Get the Capt Itchy crotch cooler. It works! I got the one with the Harley wings embossed. No more legs on fire.
Agree, more info needed. Having said that, motors that are getting hot, more so then ever before is usually because of 1 of 3 reasons. Head issues, cylinder wall/ring issues or oil circulation issues. None of those 3 are any good.

I believe the oil dipstick is about $25-35 at the dealer. Good investment for sure.
From my experiences, the oil temp will get about 200-225 degrees on hot days (when moving), and could exceed 250 in traffic.
Hey,
I put on cat-less header pipes and the heat was gone for me. Still gets warm but does not make my right leg sizzle anymore. This is on my 2020 RGL. Best thing I have done to it, probably will be the best thing I will ever do to it.
