Default Night train help..

Hey guys got a NT -07 denim black
and wanna "black it out" a little
Have been looking around. and found out i wand black fork legs..
found on ebay.. (as im from europe its easy to deal with ebay).
BUT..
Advice on if i should go wrinkle black, Denim black or "gloss" (same as frame) black..
U guys have pictures? i think i never seen a picture of a wrinkle black..

And another Question..
How wide/fat tire can i put on standard front rim, can i go wider then stock?

Tnx
iMP

+1 on the black fork lowers. I had mine powdercoated. I can't vouch for the quality/fitment of the ones you're looking at.

My '08 Train is a mix of gloss/wrinkle/denim blacks. There's some chrome here and there to keep things fresh. It's all good. Don't think too hard on it. If it catches your eye- DO IT.

IMO,I think the blacked out bikes look better with black lowers, although the chrome looks good too,I painted mine with Plastidip rubberized coating, that way If I did'nt like it,I could just peel it off, been on there since. Its the satin black color.Heres a pic.

Yeah i wont take all the chrome of.. just some "parts".. like lowers and i want denim rims ... after that im happy.. i guess =)

the last mod. i would like to do is like heatland fender.. but as a gf wanted to ride with me. its getting harder, and sadly as i have -07 i have to cut of the struts, when the -08 just have to loosen some screws. =((. so i guess i can never get the bike i really want..

JY Kelly ure bike look awsome.. ! almost like i want mine!
the spoiler u have mounted.. is that the HD's genuine? or aftermarket?
Do you got more pictures of youre ride?

ride on the darkside sadly i cant see youre picture yet.. as i havent posted enuff to enable it.. iguess..

Agreed on the black forks. It was one of the first mods I did to my 09 train.

I had the trees, lower forks, and headlight bucket done at the same time. I went with "Satin" Black, which I really liked. As Blk and Chrome said. Go say "Hi" in the Night Train Picture thread. Great Guys and beautiful bikes over there and yes bring a credit card or 3. They are good at spending your money. It even is carrying over to my Deluxe... LOL

Thanks! Yeah, that's the HD Spoiler. TOTAL PITA to install but worth it.

Definitely paint the lowers it looks so much better as far as gloss or wrinkle I went with a satin spray bomb so that I could touch it up if it got rock chips or something. But so far it has held up really well.

I went with gloss black on my fork tubes, triple trees, headlight bucket, bars & risers. I wanted it to match with the frame & wheels. Couple of quick pics for you.
