Ok I think he is looking for feedback from others that have the same Model as he does. The 2006 FLSTI or the Carb model FLST It was only made one year 2006 then discontinued by the MOCO.It looks like the one he is standing by in the photo or the one the lady is on by bleujopo above. It's called a Heritage Softail, Most people think of the classic when they here Heritage. The Classic is now FLSTCI I hope that helps all of you. Tom
Steve, I'm curious as to what windshield you had put on yours? I've got to have one and plan on ordering one early spring since we're buried in snow now.

Back at ya Buzz! Since I won't ride with passengers, we've taken the back seat off, added new pipes, chrome and in the spring the windshield and the crash bar. There's always something new to add!
BluesJopo: My windshield is the Memphis shades, Memphis Fats . I love the thing and never take it off. Before I got it highway wind was just to much. Hope that helps.
love love love my FLSTI and am very happy with it !!! now if I could just part with some extra cash to get all the polished aluminum off of it and get the chrome!!
I was a little upset when 2 weeks after I bought it, HD announced the '07 big twins would have the 6-speeds and bigger motors. But I got over it pretty quick. I had the engine chrome package put on when I bought it, and I've made a few changes (doesn't everybody?), but I pretty much love everything about the bike! The paint scheme really sets it off - I never see others like it.
Popping by cherry on this post!! I bought a fire red FLSTI last march......my first bike ever!! I had originaly ordered a white Dyna Low Rider but before it came in the FLSTI just seduced me with its great factory paint and just the overall fit of the bike. The bars, seat, footboards and everything just fit! It was a bit of a kick in the ***** to hear that the 2007s were getting the 96" and 6 speed, I would have waited if I had known. The payoff could be that we own a one year production run bike, in 15-20 years they may be worth something!
I have done the following to mine:
Passing Lights w/bullet signals
Detach Windshield
Profile Mirrors
Detach Sissy Bar w/ Mini Backrest

I am having a 95cu in kit done this spring and hopefully put some bags on it if I can find the right look. Interestingly, I am thinking about taking off the rear pillion and adding a rack and some nice bags after seeing some pics of other bikes on this site!
