Default Tsukayu Patrol saddlebags for my Fatboy Lo

Well I finally decided to go with the Tsukayu Patrol saddlebags and after about 6 weeks; they have arrived!! I ordered around 5/20 and continually followed up (about every 1.5-2 weeks) checking in with them for status. The bags are definitely roomy and they are currently at the painters getting matched to the Brilliant Silver Pearl. Photos of what I have so far and will continue to post as I get them back and start the install. Will also post my thoughts on quality.

The box showed up via FedEx and came in very good quality packing (fiberglass box included with the original price). The box is bolt sealed and hinged to open

Inside the box the saddlebags were packed with foam wrap surrounding each bag and then a cardboard wrap surrounding them both. There is also a tray where the mounting hardware is packed (also wrapped in the foam wrap stuff)

The bags look to be a great sturdy quality and I ordered them in the "ready to paint" model and found a local painter to color match my bike.

The bags are carpet lined and has a hinged lid with strap to hold it open. The carpet could have probably been a little better quality, but not the end of the world and would be an easy replacement project to do.

The bags are definitely roomy! Large enough to hold a half helmet and then some. I think each bag is about 2.3 cubic feet?? (don't quote me there)

More to come as I get the bags back painted!!

I got the same bags on my Night Train. Couldn't believe the fiberglass box packaging...and the price was right.

By the way.. I used these to install the bags:

DAMN... now I cannot find the new post I had started with all of the photos from unboxing... I had this one and then started a new one to go through the entire unbox to install process with photos and only thing I can guess is that one of the admins deleted it cause the subjects were very similar?? I sure as heck cannot find it in my other post or User CP.... and is they deleted it... sure wish they would have deleted this one instead since I said I'll post all the further notes in the main post.

UGH!!
