Is there anything out there better than the power commander? I have a 2004 flstfi 88b. the power comander usbIII just went and I want to replace it. but i have not had time to research anything any advise is greatly wanted and appreciated.
Just got FuelMoto's in-house PCIII couple months ago. Love it so far. Jamie really set it up right. If you're going big, guys around here are getting into the power vision.
I just installed the PCV a few days ago. It's a tight fit but I got it in there. Picked it up at Fuelmoto's office and Brian set me up to match my config. So far I'm very happy and the folks there are great.
yup my first pc3 went on me, and needed a tuner fast, so got one from FM, if I hadn't needed it asap I would have done some research. I'm doing the FM 107 kit this winter and will also swap to the new TTS programer at that time.
If u plan on more mods go with the mastertune tts. A little more of a learning curve but a better product overall, imho
Called FM yesterday since I am doing some upcoming mods. Very informative guys and very willing to put you right on the product you need. Having never dealt with a tuner on a bike before I wasn't sure what I needed either. Simply told them what I had, what I was going to do mod wise, and what capability I might need in the future. Set me up with a PCV with autotune. Was close to going with the PV but there was some back and forth ideas about what would best suit me. Still sounds like a cool product though.
What little experience I have at this... Call FM and tell them what you got and what you need... they won't steer you wrong.
Old thread......... but i just put the zippers thundermax on my 2011 fatboy lo.....a world of difference!! Pulls hard through every gear, sounds great idled down low......and no more decel popping.....couldnt be happier.
Have had my SERT since new 5 1/2 yrs and 38k and not 1 single problem.. I didn't want a piggy back system.. As U see and IMO its just something else that can go bad, and they do.
In 07 there wasn't as many choices.. but still now If I bought another new one I'd go with the SEPST...just me..
