help! I can't get a straight answer anywhere! Even from the dealership!!!
I bought HD narrow beach bars (56857-05) for my Fatboy Lo, but got bars, risers, and extension and am lost to what size i need. The boys at the parts counter were a bit clueless and wanted to sell me ape hanger cables and said "that should fit." any one done this to their LO? I would greatly appreciate the help and it would keep me from pulling what little hair i have left!!!!!


by the way, i just created a profile. been a long time lurker, but I'm at my wits end and needed help on a serious note!!!! so......hello.

 

Someone may know the correct size but the way ive always done it is instal the bars and controls leaving your old cables on the bike but not the bars and with a small tape measure hold the cable as if it was routed correctly then measure the gap. If its 4" then order a 4" over cable. PS welcome to the forum.

 

check out page 813 of the HD accessories book. maybe this is not what you need but it lists handlebars/model/and which cables you would need.
