I am looking at putting this intake on my '09 Heritage. I have gift card from the local supplier that should cover the costs. Anyone installed this & how do you llike it?

My brother installed that kit or one very similar and as far as air filters I feel you cant beat a K&N they increase air flow which equals more power and they are lifetime just clean and reoil them.

I love it! Took maybe 30 minutes to install. Really lets in the air.

Don't you have to have a tuner to run a high flow intake though?

It would look cool.

You dont have to have a tuner for a K&N filter.

I put one on my 06 RK. Real nice but it gets in the way of your leg a bit. I did add a tuner

You don't really "need" a tuner on the newer bikes...but you'll notice it if you have one. I'm very happy with my V&H FuelPak. Nothing to do but plug it in and let it purr. You can get the ones that let you do a bunch more with it...but my buddy has it and never changes it. Get a FuelPak.

I just installed one last weekend. Took all of about 34-40 minutes. I found one for a steal of a price on Amazon $50 less than the lowest price I found elsewhere. It was advertised as used but when it arrived it was a new item but it had a small blemish in the chrome that is barely noticeable.

As for performance...seemed to smooth out the bike a little but I didn't notice any seat of the pants hp increase. (also running D&D fat cat and XiEDs)

Easy to put on, felt like more power, took a few weeks to get used to it.

I would do it over again.
